The Apartment, which in Icelandic we call “Öbbuhús”, is an apartment that has a lot of love and kindness in the air. From the building of the house one family lived there until we bought it in 2017 when the matriarch passed away. We had been neighbors for several years and build up a beautiful relationship. We care deeply for this house and of course we named it after her, Abba. Abba’s house is an apartment that has plenty to offer.
Two rooms, one with two single beds and one single bedroom. As the place is plenty it is easy to add persons to the group because of two futon beds on the lower living room. It has a sun room / winter garden which is perfect place to unwind surrounded by the amazing view of Mt. Hafnarfjall and our garden. That whole room gets whipped into the enchantment of the garden and who knows, maybe some elves will join you from the big community that is in our garden. There is a window to the fully equipped kitchen that makes up for a good connection between the people sharing the apartment. The cooking might go slow though as the view from the kitchen window might distract the chefs.
This apartment is also equipped with a washer and a dryer.
